ReUse and PUSH Team Up on MLK Day!

On a very cold and blustery MLK Day over 40 volunteers descended on Buffalo's West Side to help Buffalo ReUse and PUSH board up 6 homes that PUSH has recently acquired. The ReUse team arrived early; setting up a board-cutting station and more importantly, a hot chocolate station.

 

 

To board up the homes we used amazing peace murals painted by children from all 32 Buffalo Public Schools for a project coordinated by Buffalo ReUse. The 6 properties are now safely boarded up and are much improved by the fantastic murals now present on the windows and doors.
