PUSHing People Power Film Series Rocks

This past Thursday, we had our monthly film screening in the PUSH office. The film this month was, "This is What Democracy Looks Like," a film shot by over 100 different people as they took to the streets in Seattle to protest the WTO and to attempt to stop its delegates from convening.

 

 

It's a great film about the power of collective action and we were really happy to play it for a full house! We had a very productive and interesting discussion afterward, facilitated by UB Professors Carl Nightingale and Ruth Goldman who have continuously donated their time, treasure, and expertise to make this film series happen. We'd love to see everyone there next time, May 7th at 5:30p.m. @ 271 Grant St., to see the film "Everything's Cool" - a documentary at the forefront of the Global Warming Fight. Be there!
