Americorps & PUSH Tackle West Side Cleanup

This past Friday, nearly 50 Americorps servicemembers as well as PUSH members and staff gathered at the MAP garden to participate in an all-day cleanup/work project on PUSH's vacant lots and properties.

 

 

Fences were stained, lots were mowed, and garden beds were completed as the volunteers worked diligently throughout the day.

 

 

At two-thirty, everyone gathered together in the parking lot of the Butler-Mitchell Boys and Girls Club to BBQ some well earned food and to eat and hang out with neighborhood residents. PUSH would like to extend a huge thank you to WNY Americorps, MAP, and all the people who made the day possible.
