New Staff & Training with CVH!

PUSH would like to formally welcome our 3 new staff members, Lonnie Barlow, Angel Ramirez, and Whitney Yax onto the PUSH team. All three are lifelong Buffalonians and are excited to get down to work here on Buffalo's West Side.

 

 

Lonnie and Angel have joined our organizing team while Whitney is our public education and greenspace coordinator.

 

 

PUSH would also like to welcome our two new programming coordinators for the community space downstairs, Briana Roy and Janice Li. We can't wait to see what they come up with for downstairs!

 

 

Even though Angel and Lonnie just came on board, PUSH shipped them plus Sara and Sergio down to Community Voices Heard last week for some intensive organizer training.

 

 

They jumped immediately into the fray and helped CVH mobilize leaders and members for two actions during the week. The PUSH team also got schooled in various organizing arts & sciences from the CVH staff and is ready to apply what they learned right here, right now, on the West Side of Buffalo

 

 

A huge thank you to all the good folks at Community Voices Heard for spending their valuable time with PUSH!
