Empire State Housing Alliance Rally in NYC!

On Wednesday, August 19th, PUSH leaders and staff hopped on bus at 4:30 in the morning to head down to New York City to attend a rally in support of a piece of legislation called the Housing Investment Fund.

 

 

If passed, the fund will create a dedicated revenue stream for affordable housing statewide. We are seeking seed money for 2010-11 to the tune of $500 million.

 

 

Over 200 people attended the rally including NY State Assemblymember Vito Lopez. PUSH would like to thank ESHA Coordinator Joan Roby-Davidson for all of her hard work in putting the rally together. We will certainly keep everyone posted as to the progress of the bill.
