PUSH Board, Staff and Tenant BBQ

PUSH board, staff and tenants braved the persistently threatening rain this past Sunday to gather around our 19th St. Garden and enjoy some fine foodstuffs and the chance to mix and mingle with each other.

 

 

Highlights of the food included a Spanish chicken and rice dish from our tenant Dashmily, Burmese "Hush Puppies" brought by board member Myo Thant, and delicious brownies baked by staffer Whitney Yax. A big thanks to Tamar for doing all the shopping and prep for the PUSH grilling materials!

 

 

As PUSH grows, we believe in the necessity of maintaining close ties with the various facets of the organization. With us, people come first and what better way to remind everyone of that lesson than some tasty out-door grilling and hanging out on a lazy Sunday afternoon.?
