PUSH Gets Trained at Mahoning Valley

This past weekend, several PUSH staff and members went westward to Ohio to spend some time with our friends and allies at the Mahoning Valley Organizing Collaborative .

 

 

MVOC lead a great training about issue-based campaign organizing where we learned about identifying targets, doing a power analysis, and identifying people's self-interest.

 

 

MVOC is a great organization and we are working closely with them on getting the Community Regeneration and Sustainability Initiative passed among a host of other national issues. If you are ever in the Youngstown, Ohio area, you should stop in and say hi to them!
