MLI Training Series: Power

Interested in becoming a member leader at PUSH Buffalo? Want to build skills to be an effective organizer and advocate for justice in your community? Join other community members for a powerful movement leadership training series this Fall as part of the launch of PUSH Buffalo’s new Movement Leadership Institute and Community Hub.

The training series will provide an introduction to PUSH Buffalo’s strategies for community-driven change in the areas of affordable housing, anti-displacement, and climate and environmental justice, and train participants in foundational skills of community organizing and power building that can be used to improve conditions in our neighborhoods.

Power
What is power and why is it essential that we invest our time and energy to build powerful communities, grassroots organizations, and governing institutions? How do we grow our power while defeating powerful billionaires, corporations, and anti-democratic forces in Buffalo and beyond? Learn what it takes to build grassroots power in and with frontline communities.

All trainings will be held at 271 Grant St. Space is limited. Participation in all of the trainings is strongly encouraged. For more information, contact organizing@pushbuffalo.org.
